In addition, support all TUM Venture Labs start-ups to meet the sustainability requirements of future businesses.
Lead - Have full operative responsibility for the TUM VL SEB and lead its team with direct reporting to the General Managing Director of the TUM Venture Labs Management gGmbH
Integrate the TUM and UnternehmerTUM ecosystem - Become an integrated member in the closely-knit network of the TUM Venture Labs Managing Directors, and align closely with stakeholders in academia, TUM start-up coaching resources, and the UnternehmerTUM programs.
Develop & implement domain-specific offerings - Be responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of domain-specific education and venturing modules as part of our vast offering to build a stable pipeline of sustainable start-up teams
Provide infrastructure assistance - Help your teams find the required resources within TUM, UnternehmerTUM, and the other TUM VLs. Assist in funding and then managing the build-up of a future SustainSpace (co-working, workshop, and laboratory space).
Engage the community - Activate the entrepreneurial community and instil an entrepreneurial mindset to advance innovations addressing major sustainability markets. Understand impact investors and contribute to the network of entrepreneurs, corporates, and professionals in the GreenTech space.
Network - Represent the TUM VL SEB externally and build a strong network within relevant technology fields, local communities, and strategic partnersBackground in business and any (preferably several) environmental sustainable technologies, processes, and business models with 3+ years of project management and leadership experience
Entrepreneurship experience and mindset (e.g., (co-)founding, venture capital, incubator, innovation programs)
Completed PhD/M. Sc. preferably with a focus in a GreenTech area
Profound interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and cultivate a highly dynamic team
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German with a high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations across hierarchies
Experience in interacting with corporate, (impact) investment, and government initiatives is a plus
