Conduct innovative research projects focusing on clinically relevant RNA viruses. Independently develop and perform cell culture infection experiments with biosafety 2 and 3 pathogens. Within specific projects, mentor and train undergraduate and PhD students and cooperate with technicians. Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with virologists, medical doctors or biochemists. Present findings in scientific meetings and publish research in high-impact journals. The applicant will work closely with the lab and science management and receive technical support.
