Postdoctoral Researcher
in the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab (m/f/d)

How do young children learn to represent the world around them? And how does their developing brain function and structure support this remarkable process? In the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at UTN led by Prof. Dr. Charlotte Grosse Wiesmann, we study the development and neural mechanisms of higher-order cognitive functions such as social cognition, reasoning, episodic memory, and representational thought. The ERC project REPRESENT investigates the neurocognitive mechanisms of the development of our capacity to reason about internal representations across different domains (in particular, Theory of Mind and reasoning about time and possibilities). To explore these questions, we combine state-of-the-art behavioral, neuroscientific, and computational methods (including functional and structural MRI, EEG, and eye-tracking).

Would you like to contribute to this interdisciplinary research enterprise and join our growing team?
