Director (m­­/­­f­­/­­x) of the Animationsinstitut

The Institute Director defines the artistic profile, thematic focus and organizational processes of the institution, represents it both externally and internally, and is responsible for ensuring its continuous development and for adapting to current trends in the field of animation-driven moving-image media. The Director is supported by a skilled team comprising 25 full-time positions. The Director is responsible for all the institute's activities, in particular: The strategic further development of the institute's thematic focus and organizational processes in the national and international context, with support from the Filmakademie's management board The conception of teaching activities The conception of the institute's technical provision, IT infrastructure and digital image postproduction The thematic focus of the international conference FMX The further development of research & development activities The institute's international network and focus The institute's HR investment funds and equipment as defined in a fiscal plan, in collaboration with the Animationsinstitut's Head of Finance The further development of the institute as a brand with international reach Representing the institute externally, cultivating contacts with other institutions in order to realise the Animationsinstitut's objectives
