Engineer - Development and Maintenance of SRAM Bit Cells (m/w/d)
As an engineer in the field of SRAM bit cell development you will drive the development of new SRAM bit cells in our 22FDX technology and its derivatives. You will also be responsible for the support of existing SRAM bit cells for mature and new technology derivatives. Essential Responsibilities include Electrical characterization of transistors used in SRAM bit cells and arrays. Electrical characterization of SRAM bit cells (e.g. Iread, Istandby, static noise margin, etc.) Definition of scribe line test structures and test programs for parametric testing. Characterization of SRAM memory arrays (e.g. disturb margin, write margin, retention). Data analysis of process splits as well as split planning and implementation of experiments. Support the creation of SPICE models describing the SRAM bit cell devices together with the modeling team and the simulation engineers. Process optimization for best parametric yield and reliability in close cooperation with the integration department and the respective project management. Many of these activities will be performed in close cooperation with local and global teams across various departments and sites.
University degree in microelectronics, electrical engineering, physics or other suitable subjects. At least three years of experience in development of leading-edge CMOS technologies with emphasis on characterization and qualification of SRAM bit cells. In depth understanding of semiconductor devices, especially MOSFETs. Broad knowledge of leading-edge CMOS and embedded memory technology processes and their impact on device and SRAM bit cell parameters. Good insight into characterization of SRAM memory array and their components. Actively approach tasks and drive them successfully to completion. Very good analytical and presentation skills. Fluency in English language (written and verbal). Proven team player. Preferred Qualifications OPC and integration experience. Experience with SPICE models. Experience with customer communication. German language skills are recommended.
